Animal Control Officer (part-time)
The City of Beacon seeks a well-qualified, dependable individual to serve as its part-time Animal Control Officer. Applicant must have availability during the day. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, six (6) months of full-time, paid or volunteer work experience caring for animals in a commercial, governmental or non-profit organization and possession of a valid New York State driver license are required. The position will work on an as-needed basis. The pay will be $20.00 per hour for each hour worked. Beacon residency is preferred.
