Free Bulk Garbage
Free bulk garbage drop-off is available for residents who are paid in full on their taxes. The Transfer Station is open for free bulk-drop off on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 7:30 – 2:30 from June 4 – October 17th. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the City of Beacon will be temporarily raising the volume of free bulk drop-off from 250 to 500 pounds. Please note that in 2021 the volume will return to 250 pounds.
The Transfer Station provides City of Beacon residents with a drop-off facility for garbage, recyclables and yard waste.
