Animal Control Officer (part-time)
The City of Beacon seeks a well-qualified, dependable individual to serve as its part-time Animal Control Officer. Applicant must have availability during the day. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, six (6) months of full-time, paid or volunteer work experience caring for animals in a commercial, governmental or non-profit organization and possession of a valid New York State driver license are required. The position will work on an as-needed basis. The pay will be $20.00 per hour for each hour worked. Beacon residency is preferred. MUNICIPAL TRAINING OFFICER

Notice is hereby given that City of Beacon is requesting sealed proposals to provide fire training services to the City of Beacon Fire Department’s Volunteer and career firefighters. The training instructor must be a New York State Fire Instructor Level I. Proposals must be received by 3:00 p.m., Friday March 27, 2020 at the City of Beacon Municipal Center, located at One Municipal Plaza, Suite One, Beacon, New York 12508.
