The City of Beacon Board of Ethics consists of five members serving five-year terms.

The City of Beacon Board of Ethics conducts investigations and hearings into ethical issues that are specifically set forth in the City of Beacon Code of Ethics.
The Board of Ethics reports its reasoned advisory opinions of every notification it receives and of every investigation it conducts. All reports and notifications are public records maintained by the board, unless excepted by other statute.
After receiving the advisory opinion, the city council may conduct a hearing on the matter in accordance with applicable laws. Upon completion of such hearing, the city council may request an advisory opinion and recommendation of disciplinary action from the Board of Ethics
All issues brought to the attention of the Ethics committee must be in writing, mailed or hand-delivered to the committee.
The Board of Ethics meets quarterly on the second Monday of March, June, September and December.
