Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corps

Since 1959, the City of Beacon has been well served by the Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corps. BVAC runs a fleet of three fully equipped New York State certified ambulances, an Advance Life Support first response vehicle, and a mass casualty incident trailer.

Receiving over 2400 calls each year, BVAC is one of the busiest volunteer services in the county. Visit the BVAC website for more information about volunteering, first aid and CPR courses, and public demonstrations.
