The Arts and Culture Committee is charged with supporting Beacon arts organizations and individuals by advising the city council to develop ordinances, work on specific projects, help to market the arts in Beacon, and more. It is composed of members of the Beacon arts organizations, business owners, artists and residents. The committee is not a replacement for these groups.

The committee consists of not less than five nor more than 15 members, who shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the mayor. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please complete the Arts and Culture Committee Application Form and submit it to: Office of the Mayor, 1 Municipal Center, Beacon, New York 12508-2530. Your application will be kept on file for future reference if there is no current opening. Thank you.
