The City of Beacon Chamber of Commerce website is a great place to find information about local businesses and events. The Chamber also operates the Beacon Welcome Center, which is staffed by volunteers. The Center provides information and pamphlets regarding the City and is generally open on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Beacon City School District limits are beyond the City of Beacon and encompass parts of Fishkill and Wappinger Falls. The district collects school taxes yearly.
